Rationale and Development of Community Based Curriculum Unit – Wreck Bay, A.C.T.
Abstract
This is an account of a project undertaken with the assistance of a grant from the Schools Commission ‘s Innovation Scheme to develop a social studies unit in a cross-cultural situation. The minority community involved is the Aboriginal community at Wreck Bay; the school is the Jervis Bay Primary School which the children of Wreck Bay attend.
